A preview of McCain's unwritten book?

Probably.

He is one of the most graceful and appealing political communicators to appear on the national stage in my lifetime. He is, also, one of the more artfully dishonest ones.
Salter has co written all of McCain's books.

Obama's hopeanchange

Obama has been quick to shut down Gitmo and end coercive interrogation methods. We can take a rain check on pretty much all his other promises. Funny, McCain pledged to close Gitmo and coercive interrogation too.

The How-Hard-You've-Fallen-For-Barry-Test

Toobin tries to poo poo the McCain campaign suspension. That’s because the harder you’ve fallen for Barry, the more you hate what McCain has done these past 36 hours.

Toobin scores an 11 out of 10 on the HHYFFBT...

Pundits bore me. I only care what the two candidates have to say

Whether you hate McCain or love him or are somewhere in between, wouldn't you prefer the following McCain quotes to hearing about shivers in Chris Matthews leg? PUT THEM IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE AND LET THEM DEBATE!

* That’s how we see this election: country first or Obama first.

* When it comes to cutting taxes for seniors, for working families, for small businesses my opponent didn’t put the hardworking people of this country first. When it came time to support our troops fighting to protect our freedoms and way of life my opponent said he’d never deprive them of the funds they needed to fight and then he voted to do just that. He voted against funding the equipment our troops rely on as they fight to protect us. That’s not putting the men and women of our military first, my friends. When it comes time to reach across the aisle and work with members of both parties to get things done for the American people, my opponent cant name a single occasion in which he fought against his party’s leadership to get something done for the country…that’s not putting the country first.

* We have heard a lot of words from Senator Obama over the course of this campaign. But maybe just this once he could spare us the lectures, and admit to his own poor judgment in contributing to these problems. The crisis on Wall Street started in the Washington culture of lobbying and influence peddling, and he was right square in the middle of it…this is the problem with Washington. People like Senator Obama have been too busy gaming the system and haven’t ever done a thing to actually challenge the system. That’s not country first, that’s Obama first.

* A vote for Senator Obama will leave this country at risk during one of the most severe challenges to America’s economy since the Great Depression. You see, when it comes to growing the economy and protecting you from the corruption of Wall Street and Washington Senator Obama just doesn’t get it.

My Rally Idea

I think McCain and Palin should split up and do simultaneous rallies in different parts in the country. The two rallies could then be linked via teleconferencing with giant TV screens. You know, kinda like how the Dems had one event at Mile High and the other at the Pepsi Center ---except instead of having two events on boths sides of I-25, you have 2 huge rallies going on in different states.

Obama says McCain Camp Turned Comment Into 'Racially Incendiary Remark'

Interesting. That's the same language Obama used against his 20 year pal Jeremiah Wright.

"Incendiary Language"

OMG! Obama just compared McCain to Jeremiah Wright!
Obama=Britney Spears. Outrage? Check!
McCain=Wright. Outrage? looking... looking... looking... Nope.

OBAMA'S DOUBLE STANDARD

So it's OK for Obama to scoff at critics (no wait -- MODERATORS) who question Barack's voting record. He tells Brian Williams how "silly" it is to judge someone on their record. Then today Obama judges McCain's voting record.

McCain cannot pick Romney for veep --- EVER

Hey Mitt, why don't you brown nose your way into a Hillary-Romney ticket.

Obama's newest double standard

WSJ:
"I originally voted for the suspension because I thought that it was extraordinary circumstances, given the huge hike in prices," he said at the time. Gas prices averaged $1.52 a gallon in March 2000.

Who's gonna be veep?

John Chambers?
Colin Powell?
Charlie Crist?
Tom Ridge?

All I know is "anybody but Romney"
